Bernard Sless, former president of the Casino Research Information Bureau, collected information about the inception of the Atlantic City, New Jersey casinos. His collection includes reports from casinos, the governmental entities that regulate them, and outside sources. Also included in the collection are scrapbooks with newspaper clippings, journals, and the text of public hearings related to the 1976 New Jersey Constitutional amendment to permit gambling and the Casino Control Act.
